Isn’t It Time for Justice for September 11 Attacks?

US-Saudi Deal Should Be Opposed, Some Say
The families of 9/11 victims are still waiting for justice. Over 3,000 family members have demanded that both former president Trump and VP Harris oppose any peace deal in the Middle East until the kingdom of Saudi Arabia not only acknowledges their involvement in the 9/11 attack but is also held accountable for it.
The head of 9/11 Justice, an advocacy group, Brett Eagleson, recently told Fox News Digital, “We waited 23 years for truth, justice, and accountability. As we continue to push and as we continue to make noise, we're seeing more and more evidence, smoking-gun evidence coming out about the kingdom's role in supporting 9/11 hijackers, and our government has done nothing to hold them accountable."
Currently, the Biden administration is pushing for a deal that would help to improve relations between the Saudis and Israel. Trump has advocated for a similar deal. However, 9/11 advocacy groups believe that the Saudis shouldn’t get this kind of help when they were involved in 9/11.
The letter from 9/11 Justice addresses both Harris and Trump, reading: "As you campaign to become the next President of the United States, we ask you to pledge that you will not endorse any Middle East peace deal involving Saudi Arabia unless it fully addresses the role of the Saudi Arabian government in the 9/11 attacks.”
