Boar's Head Recalls Additional 7 Million Pounds of Products Amid Listeria Outbreak Investigation

In an example of government oversight failures, the beloved American institution Boar's Head is forced to issue a massive product recall due to potential life-threatening contaminants. This latest development comes amidst an ongoing probe into a devastating listeriosis epidemic linked to one of its facilities.

According to US Department of Agriculture authorities, this expanded recall encompasses approximately 71 distinct products, including but not limited to:

  • Liverwurst,

  • Ham,

  • Beef Salami,

  • Bolognas,

and various others manufactured beneath both Boar's Head & Old Country labels from May 10th through July 29th within their troubled Jarratt, VA-based processing site.

This drastic measure succeeds an initial recall that affected over 200,000 lbs of pre-sliced deli goods last week alone! Now, consumers must confront the sobering reality: these tainted edibles might have reached dinner tables across America.
